Artist, born and living in Vienna, Austria
We live in a century where we have access to music, whenever and wherever we want. While listening it takes us to different emotions and makes us feel certain ways. When it comes to visual art it’s a different story. Usually paintings can be found in a specific area which is not always accessible to people – in a museum or an exhibition. When you leave the location where you have been exposed to such artworks, what’s left behind, are memories.
As an artist myself that made me feel jealous of the impact that music can leave on people. I wanted to do something which would fulfill my desire of my artwork being accessible anytime and anywhere. So I decided to paint on wearables.
A big part of my life and as an artist in my artworks is the affinity to women.
In our society showing weakness is not a strength.
In my opinion, women, compared to men and based on a different way of upbringing, are much more connected with their emotions. It was always fascinating to me that it seemed to be easier for females to talk about their mistakes, weaknesses and feelings. Revealing those characteristics is strength in my eyes.
Many men are taught the total opposite. They grow up with the believe that they are less of a man if they reveal such things.
That is the main reason why I feel more connected with women than men and why I express my thoughts and feelings through the divine women gestures and their appereance.
I paint women showing their fragile and emotional side in a sexy and powerful way.
Wearing such paintings gives me power aswell because of that thought.
